The Pelicano Foundation fights child poverty and inequality in Belgium on a daily basis. Every child has the right to the same opportunities: sufficient food, healthy living conditions, quality education and meaningful leisure time. Trixie is committed to helping the Pelicano Foundation realise these opportunities in a sustainable way.

Trixie chose to support the Pelicano Foundation because we share a common goal; to let children be children and let them grow up with a wealth of imagination and freedom. Unfortunately, nowadays it is not a given that every child can develop and explore their own imagination. Fortunately, this is when foundations like Pelicano can make a difference.

We want to give children the chance to grow into their own person in this society. Together we can do more, which is why it is important to help and support each other.

To get off to a good start, every Pelicano child will receive a budget to choose a Trixie backpack. Additionally, Trixie wants to raise and donate money to be able to help multiple Pelicano children, as well as spread the word to inform people of the Pelicano Foundation's existence and its wonderful efforts.

Baby-Nest was founded by Wieske, who has worked in the maternity ward throughout her career. Baby-Nest is a social organisation that aims to help (future) mothers and/or fathers so that children in vulnerable families have opportunities.

This is primarily done by offering material help free of charge, but in addition to these 'things', parents are also offered appropriate advice.  Trixie wants to help vulnerable parents through Baby-nest, by donating textiles; so that they too can create a warm nest for their baby. Wieske is assisted by a large team of volunteers to carry out the day-to-day tasks.
